We need some of you to give us a hand with our second annual appearance in the Waterford Hills Memorial Day Parade (Monday, May 28). A number of members have donated their vehicles to appear on the parade. What we need now is volunteers to walk alongside our vehicles and hand out 1,000 WHRRI checkered flags.
The parade steps off more or less at 10am. The route is straight up Dixie Hwy, from Sashabaw to Williams Lake Rd. Suffice to say that you’ll be done by noon. It's a great time, and the crowd absolutely loved seeing our pace and race cars last year.
We will gather at the RiteAid at Sashabaw and Dixie at 8:30am this Monday (May 28).
