That's right, we're repaving it! As anyone who's driven the track in recent years knows, we're overdue for some sweet, sweet resurfacing. As anyone who's been to any WHRRI event or meeting in recent years knows, we've been fund-raising our butts off to get it done. This is a $1,000,000 project, and we're about 90% there... And we've now finalized our plan to cross the finish line.
WHRRI is offering 70 interest bearing (6%) promissory notes for $5,000 each to WHRRI club members, money to be available to WHRRI on October 1, 2018. Notes will be repaid with 6 equal annual payments of $1,016.82, starting in October of 2019. The repaving work will commence on September 17th of this year, which means our last few events of 2018 (which were heretofore tentative) are being canceled.
