OTD Sunday May 10th, 2015 !

Open Track  Day Sunday May 10th.

For drivers who are coming out to the track for the first time or who would like to refresh their memory, I suggest you read the Open Track Day Primer. It contains important details on flags, passing and passing zones, tech inspection, and helmets, along with other useful information on tires, torque for wheels, run groups, and brake fade.


Spectators are welcome, and there is no admission charge to watch from the bleachers located strategically around the track.  For $2, you can enter the paddock and get up close with the cars and drivers, for some go-fast sightseeing or some "smack talk / bench racing".  Everyone must sign a waiver to enter the paddock.

Some things to keep in mind:
  • The gates open at 7:00 AM. Tech opens at 7:15 and closes at 9:15. ALL cars must pass tech before going on track.
  • We have a limited number of loaner helmets at the track.  Bring your own helmet if possible. Helmets have to be SA 2000 or newer. DOT only and 95 (or older) helmets are not approved, and will not pass tech.
  • There is typically food available from our concession stand.  You can also bring your own "picnic", if you prefer.
