Work has begun on the I-75 Sashabaw Road interchange. Starting 5-26 the exit ramp from I-75 northbound to Sashabaw Road will be closed for about a month. The entrance ramp from Sashabaw to northbound I-75 is also closed.
Alternate routes:
Continue on I-75 north to the M-15 exit and take M-15 south to Dixie Highway. Dixie Highway south to Waterford Road. This route will take you through downtown Clarkston. Speed limit is 35 MPH but traffic should be light early on weekends. Would not recommend it midday.
Or
Continue on I-75 north to Dixie Highway. Take Dixie Highway south to Waterford Road. This is probably the fastest route.
The reconstruction of the I-75 Sashabaw Road interchange will last until November so stay tuned.
