Hello All,
based on the extension of stay at home restrictions which were updated on May 7, 2020 and concern to prepare all of the necessary precautions for personal protection, Drivers School on Track is shifted to May 30-31, 2020.
Drivers School Classroom is being planned as an online forum now on May 24, 2020.
The WHRRI
Race #2 ( was May 23-24, then May 30-31 ) is now fully cancelled ( unless racing
in November is desired and approved - NOT likely )
While
we are reluctant to again make an incremental shift in the 2020 schedule, this
is shaping up as the most prudent path forward.
Usage of track time which has been prohibited in the first part of the season is being discussed for proposal to the
Township, with consideration also of the consent judgment – to run replacement events later into October.
Spectators are not planned
for the proposed Driver’s School or the June 14 Open Track Day. Strict distancing,
mask usage, and regular sanitizing can be expected if these events can
be held.
Any participants or volunteers who have
heightened medical risks, should plan on avoiding any upcoming events,
for (at least) the coming few months.
We are looking forward to getting things kicked off soon – once the restrictions sufficiently expire.
