Race Weekend #5 September 8th & 9th

The 5th and final Race date of 2018 is September 8th & 9th, 2018.
We are holding a celebration to recognize 60 years of speed event held at what is now named Waterford Hills Race Track.
There is a Ground Pounding Big Bore Special Feature Race planned for Saturday, and an Australian Pursuit Race planned for Sunday, with the slowest entrant starting first, and the fastest entrant coming from the back to catch them if they can.
Saturday and Sunday will have our club races throughout the day.  A modest admission price is required to come and see all of the action at the track, with an additional charge if you would like to come into the Paddock for an up close and personal connection with the cars and the racers.
The public is welcome to come by and walk around the paddock and check out the cars and talk with their racers and crew.
Saturday qualifying (and Sunday racing) start at 10:00am. There are 5 different groupings of cars, and each group gets a 25 minute practice/qualifying session. Once these are completed, racing begins!
Each race group does a pace lap and a rolling start for a 12 lap race. With each race group getting three races during the weekend, that's fifteen races!
Bracket Time Trials are an added event with Street Cars allowed, where cars compete to run the 3 laps closest to their own preset dial-in time.
We race rain or shine. We've even raced a few times in the snow. Thunderstorms will interrupt the action, but short of that, we take to the track for some of the greatest wheel to wheel racing you can see.
