If you're like me, you find the closing workbee at the end of a season to be profoundly sad. Sure, you know spring will come, and along with it a new season of racing. But it's hard to keep that in mind while shutting the facility down for winter.
But then there's the opening workbee! If you're like me, you find this one to be as exciting as, well, let's just say it's pretty darned exciting! The work isn't glamorous, but that doesn't matter. You see the track again, the grounds, maybe even with a bit of pride, and you get a wonderful feeling of anticipation... It's coming...
We'll hold our opening workbee this year on Saturday, April 4th. We'll get started at 10:00am. If you can't make the whole day, that's no problem. Just come out and do what you can.
