This weekend Waterford Hills Road racing is sponsoring a very special event. Saturday, July 16th, is the 3rd annual WHRRI Breast Cancer Walk. In the last two years we have raised and donated over $8,000.00 to the Susan G. Komen Walk for the Cure. The money is sent to the Mid-Michigan Walk for the Cure and the money is spent in the State of Michigan to educate & care for victims & families affected by this disease.
The club donates the entire spectator gate to this cause so the price to enter this weekend is a donation to the Breast Cancer Walk.
The Walk starts at 6PM on Saturday evening on the track. The walk will continue until 9pm, three hours instead of three days. Or it is a very nice warm up to the three day walk. This is open to everyone, drivers, crew, spectators and the general public.
